Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles. Actually, almost any song by the Beatles makes me happy.

Least Favorite Song
Pierrot Lunaire, 18.Der Mondfleck (The Moonfleck) by Arnold Schoenberg
Yes my friends, this even surpasses Rebecca Black's Friday as my least favorite song. I have now had to listen to this song repeatedly in two different classes as we learn about music through the ages. Please feel no obligation to listen to this.

30 Day Song Challenge Day 1
So yeah.. I'm starting this challenge a little early because I know I'm going to forget a day or something, so I'll go ahead and post Day 1 on March 29th instead of waiting all the way until April 1st. Besides, I register for classes tonight. What else am I supposed to do until midnight?
Day 1: My favorite song:
I can't really pick an absolute favorite, but among my most favorite of all songs ever written in all time known to man is Ludwig van Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Playing it lets my soul sing. In an abstract kind of way. Here's a video of someone much better than me (Wilhelm Klempf) playing the 3rd movement.

Thoughts on Holding On and Other Things
Holding on. That's exactly what I'm doing. Well, holding on to a hand. A hand that I think will soon become very special.
3 weeks to finals! Hooray!
I love March. (Madness.)
I also love the snow. So. Much. I won't complain that it's March. Snow is welcome any time.
I love my family. Congratulations to my parents on their 22nd Anniversary today!
As you can tell, it's late and I need to sleep. And write my physics paper. Which I don't want to do as I write poorly when it's late, as you can probably tell.
Anyways, I think I will make it to the end of the semester. That is, I think I will if I keep holding on!

Speechless
I lost my voice. I can't find it anywhere. Really. I can do no more than whisper sweet nothings in your ear that you can't even hear.
I wish I could reply to all the nice people who said hi to me today. Rose, from Italian last year; Sona, who I work with; the nice guy who told me I was a great TA and saved his butt last semester; friends in classes, etc.
Thank goodness for white boards and their use in Physics 222. That was my method of communication today.
Thank goodness also for text messages, facebook chats, and blog posts that let me express myself despite having no voice.
Because, believe it or not, I actually have something to say. And I will find a way to say it. Because it matters, if only to me.

Bourne
Dear Matt Damon,
I love you unconditionally.
Dear Jason Bourne,
You're incredible. I love you more than I love Matt Damon, and that's saying something.
Dear Moby,
I love your song.
Love, Jenny

To my dear neighbors,
No really, your loud, gory movie isn't keeping me awake. Really. I don't mind one bit. And those squishing sounds followed by grunts and screams? What is it you're watching? I'm dying to know. And dying to sleep.
Your neighbor,
Jenny
