Spring in Bountiful

Time to start blogging again. Being a bum in the basement gives me a little more time than I know what to do with.

So my freshman year of BYU is behind me. I learned a lot, picked a major, had a boyfriend, learned (a little bit) how to cook, kept my dorm clean (for the most part), made a lot of friends, and had a blast!

Now that I'm back in B-town, I searched for, and found a job with Mad Science. I'll be an instructor for some summer camps. I'm very excited; it seems like a job I will enjoy doing. However, I don't have quite as many hours as I would like to have, so I'm still looking for another job, I'll most likely end up cashiering or working retail somewhere around town.

I've been catching up with people I haven't seen in a while, just in time to send them off on their missions. I'm so proud of the boys I know deciding to serve the Lord for two years. It's a big decisions; it involves a lot of time, dedication, money, knowledge, a love for the gospel. I know they're doing the right thing and they are / will be great missionaries.

I've also been catching up with old hobbies, since I have the time to do so :)
So, playing the piano, flute, organ have been fun. I'm also going to set up my mom's new sewing machine and (finally) finish that quilt I started ages and ages ago.

If it ever stops snowing, this summer will be a fun one! (I have a new swimsuit to try out :) )

Eventually, I'll go through more of my old high school stuff and throw out papers I'm no longer so attached to. Unless distance makes the heart grow fonder, then I'll be trying to keep way too much again!

A blog entry a week is my goal. If I'm bored, you'll get to read about a random topic. Drawn from the internet, or whatever's on my mind. Actually, isn't that what all my blog posts are about anyways?
