Experiment

So you know how you and God can make a deal and if you keep your end of the bargain He'll keep his? I'm putting that to the test. Watch out world. I've got the Big Guy on my side. It started so innocently this morning. I read my Patriarchal blessing, went to church and played prelude music, took the Sacrament, read the Living Christ, and got mentally hit with the thought, "If I love God so much and I want Him to love me, am I doing ALL I can to serve Him?" So I decided to bear my testimony, renew my efforts to study the scriptures every day, ponder my patriarchal blessing more often. And basically, I expect an outpouring of blessings for these efforts. And the best part is that I'm going to start looking for these blessings, but I might not be blessed any more than I already am, I'll just become a better person and that's a blessing in itself.
So that's my experiment. I'm going to try to be a better child of God, and I'll see what happens. The thing is, though, I already know what the outcome of this experiment is going to be. It's happened over and over again all throughout my life, and others' lives. You should try it too!
