Sci-Fi Dreams?

This afternoon, I took a nap. It was a lovely, 2 hour nap. During this nap, I had a really intense dream. I usually don't remember dreams, but this was an exception. I will attempt to describe the dream here. I've heard it said that Twilight came to Stephanie Meyer in a dream. Don't worry, I don't intend to follow her pattern and make millions out of a poorly written teen book and movie series.

The dream I had today may have been a continuation of a dream I had a few nights ago. I wouldn't have remembered it, but my alarm went off right in the middle of it, and I woke up tense.

So, in this dream of a few nights ago, I was in Provo, and there was an alien invasion. The aliens looked human, but were slightly faster, stronger, taller. The dream involved a lot of running and hiding. I ended up in an apartment in Provo, reading a book in a corner in a dark room with the blinds drawn.  I don't know why I didn't leave Provo, maybe the invasion was global, and there really was no point. There were other people I knew there in the apartment, people I know from classes and church. I'm not sure, but I think the book was about the aliens, their tactics, etc. I don't remember a ton from the dream, but I think I woke up running from one or more alien, trying not to be caught. I don't know why I was running - I think they were not friendly. I guess that would be the point of an invasion.

Fast forward to this afternoon's nap. I was not human. I didn't know I was not human. I still looked it. I was in a school, or academy, with other humans who were not human, about my age. Somehow during the dream, I figured out that my "soul" had been transplanted into a body that looked like mine, but was foreign. I was under the instruction of someone who looked and behaved a lot like Nick Fury. We were being trained for something, a mission. I rebelled. I didn't like this mission. I think it was to wipe out remaining human forces resisting the "change." The "change" was the process I had gone through - replacing a weak, human form, with a stronger, alien body and machinery. I knew that my "change" had not been voluntary, and I didn't want to force it on any one else. So I conspired with the others in my team - about eight "students" of this school, and at the last minute, we ruined the mission. We were each in robot-type machines, larger than life armor, that responded to our thoughts. I distinctly remember that they were yellow, and that we were the "Yellow Invasion." My team and I turned our weapons on the school, instead of the human city and blew it up.

I woke up before I could see the consequences of my actions. I'd like to think that in true action movie style, Nick Fury was blown to bits. The humans thanked us for not killing them, and allowed us to live, separately, as long as we promised not to bother them.

So yeah, weird dream. I don't often remember dreams, and it seemed weird to me to have two alien movie style dreams so close together, and so memorable. Please don't make a movie about it. There are enough weird alien movies already.
